Starlight Drive-In, Moreland Ave (Atlanta)

Opened in 1949, the Starlight Drive-In on Moreland Avenue is Atlanta’s last surviving drive-in theatre. Over the decades it grew to multiple screens and—despite upgrades like digital projection—still feels charmingly mid-century the moment you see that towering STARLIGHT sign. On weekends the grounds double as a lively flea market, but in the quiet hours it’s all sky, trees, and a marquee that whispers memories. This quick stop was about holding onto that feeling.

I wonder if there are many drive-in movie theatres left in the country…I went to this drive-in once, and as long as you have a good battery on your car-it is an enjoyable experience.
